Current owner, Robert Sharpe, is the third generation continuing to
maintain the Quality & Great Personal Service standards that his
grandfather put in place 72 years ago.
Robert Sharpe is a founding member of the Independent Florist Association,
a national association.
Sharpe's Flowers has continuily provided friendly personal service to the
entire community of Frederick. Located on Motter Avenue in Frederick.
Sharpe's has over 20 varieties of fresh flowers at all times with fresh
flowers arriving daily. Unique & distinctive arrangements, personalized
service with a satisfaction guarantee.
Sharpe's has several greenhouses. We grow on site & maintain a large
variety of beautiful blooming plants along with a wide variety of healthy
green plants.
We grow our own Poinsettias for the holiday season and grow Easter Lilies
for Easter. Spring & Summer we grow beautiful bulb gardens & plants along
with
a large selection of Bedding plants in all sorts of colors and varieties
to choose from. We also create lovely bedding garden planters full of
blooming plants
to send as gifts.
Sharpe's has custom fruit baskets & specialty baskets made fresh to
order. We have strict guidelines that we maintain to guarantee the
freshest baskets. All
of our fruit & food items are purchased fresh just before delivery after
making contact with the recipient to make sure that they are there to
receive it.
Wedding consultations are our pleasure! Our Brides are special! Many of
our brides become lifelong customers who often being in their sons &
daughters for their wedding flowers. If you are planning a wedding, please
call for an appointment and to reserve your date.
We also have a large selection of plush animals in all sizes & price
ranges.
Sharpe's balloon bouquets are great to send for any occasion. We have many
to choose from. Mylar & latex balloons are available.
Other Services
We offer a special standing order program. This works great for people
that a busy and like to get things done. It's also for people who like to
make sure they remember birthdays, anniversaries and any other special
dates for the most important people in their lives.
All you do is provide us with dates, names & addresses & what you would
like to spend and we will do the rest! It's that simple. we will do orders
for a year in advance. Imagine...remembering all your important events &
already have them taken care of. All information is kept
confidential and in house.
We also offer a special order program for business people. If you are in
the business world you know how valuable your customers & contacts are. We
will set you up & maintain your business cards or other materials to
deliver with your flowers or plants etc. You can call , fax or e-mail us
with what you want to send along with the delivery info. There is no
obligation or contracts to sign.
Sharpe's Flowers also provide standing orders to all the Frederick area's
cemeteries. If you would like to place something on the grave of a loved
one we have several options for you that will stay in compliance with each
